German Shepherd, breed of Functioning Canine created in Germany from standard herding and farm canines. It's a strongly constructed and relatively very long-bodied Canine. Its dense coat is made up of coarse, medium-long, straight or marginally wavy outer hair and smooth limited inner hair; its
